R.I.P. Warren Yee

Squash players and administrators across the Oceania Region have been saddened to hear of the passing of Mr Warren Yee in Fiji yesterday.

Warren was a keen squash enthusiast who was very proud to represent his country at numerous Oceania Championships and Pacific Games over the past 20 years.  He won numerous awards at Oceania and Pacific Games Championships, his most recent the Men’s Individual Bronze Medal at the 2011 Pacific Games.

Known as the “Ninja” for his lightning quickness around the court the Oceania squash community will remember Warren for his competitive spirit and friendly, easy-going manner off the court.

“Warren was the face of Fiji Squash for many years and a true personality of the sport which he loved.  He was committed to furthering the development of Squash in the Oceania Region.  Warren will be sadly missed by the Oceania squash community. “ - Col Clapper (Past President of OSF)
