On Saturday the General Meeting of the Oceania Squash Federation elected a new President to succeed Neven Barbour following the completion of his 4 year term.
Jim O’Grady from New Zealand was elected at the 25th General Meeting of the Federation held in Auckland, New Zealand. Jim, who has served on the Board in a Vice President capacity over the past 4 years, comes to the role with extensive experience within our sport. With 40+ years as a player and administrator Jim is keen to build strong relationships between the member nations and promote sustainable growth for squash in the Region.
Also elected at the meeting was a new Vice President: Dale Robbins from Australia. Dale brings to the Board extensive business experience along with a depth of squash knowledge that will be invaluable in assisting the development and direction of squash in the Region.
Jim and Dale join Vice President: David Navarre (New Caledonia) and Executive Officer: Carol Kawaljenko (Australia) who continue their terms on the Board.
